What is the tension control system of the inverted wire drawing machine?
The tension control system of the inverted wire drawing machine is the key part to ensure the stability of the wire drawing process and the quality of the wire, which mainly includes the following aspects:
Tension sensor
The inverted wire drawing machine is equipped with tension sensors at key locations. These sensors can measure the tension of the wire in real time and accurately during the wire drawing process. The sensor is usually based on the principle of strain gauges or other high-precision mechanical measurement principles to convert the physical quantity of tension into an electrical signal. For example, when the wire passes through the tension sensor, the strain gauge inside the sensor undergoes a slight deformation due to the tension, thereby generating an electrical signal proportional to the tension. This electrical signal is transmitted to the control system for processing.
Control System
Signal processing and analysis: After the control system receives the signal from the tension sensor, it will process and analyze it. It will compare the actual tension value with the preset tension target value. If there is a deviation between the actual tension and the target tension, the control system will calculate according to the preset algorithm and determine the adjustment measures to be taken.
Intelligent adjustment function: The advanced High Precision inverted wire drawing machine control system has intelligent adjustment capabilities. It can dynamically adjust the tension control strategy according to different drawing stages, material properties, drawing speed and other factors. For example, at the beginning of drawing, when the wire just enters the die, the control system will automatically adjust the appropriate initial tension according to the initial hardness of the material and the resistance of the die; during the drawing process, as the wire diameter decreases, the system will change the tension setting value accordingly to ensure that the wire is always in a stable drawing state.
Actuator
Motor speed adjustment: In order to control the tension, the control system of the inverted wire drawing machine will adjust the speed of the motor. When the tension is too large, the motor speed is reduced to slow down the wire drawing speed, thereby reducing the tension; conversely, when the tension is too small, the motor speed is increased to speed up the wire drawing speed to increase the tension. The motor speed is usually adjusted by a frequency converter, which can accurately change the power supply frequency of the motor according to the instructions of the control system, thereby achieving precise control of the motor speed.
Tension compensation device: In addition to motor speed adjustment, some inverted wire drawing machines are also equipped with tension compensation devices. These devices can quickly adjust the tension in a short time to deal with tension fluctuations caused by unexpected situations such as uneven materials and slight wear of the mold. For example, through hydraulic or pneumatic tension compensation mechanisms, when there is an instantaneous change in tension, a certain force can be quickly applied or released to restore the tension to a stable state.
