Compared with sandpaper grinding, the belt sander has the following significant advantages:
More efficient grinding
The belt sander uses a motor to drive the sanding belt to rotate or move at high speed, and its sanding speed is much faster than manual sanding with sandpaper. For example, when pre-treating a large area of wood surface (such as door panels and tabletops), the belt sander can cover a large area in a short time and quickly remove burrs and unevenness on the wood surface. Using sandpaper to sand the same area of wood requires a lot of time and manpower, and the sanding progress is relatively slow.
The continuous operation characteristics of the belt sander mean that it does not need to be interrupted as frequently during the sanding process as when using sandpaper.
